Dentures are generally a removable method for replacing missing teeth. This can be an entire arch of teeth, or anywhere from one to many missing teeth. Partial dentures can be made of all acrylic or can have a metal base. Full dentures are often used in conjunction with a few implants to give greater stability and retention. There are also implant-supported dentures that are screwed in so that they are only removable with a special tool.
